Certified Flagger

Certified Flaggers We’re Hiring Certified Flaggers! We are looking for reliable, safety-conscious Certified Flaggers to join our team. Flaggers are responsible for maintaining safe traffic flow through work zones, protecting workers and the public, and following all applicable traffic-control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Direct and control traffic safely through construction and work zones.
• Set up, maintain, and remove traffic-control devices and signage.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, pedestrians, and work crews.
• Follow all company safety procedures and applicable traffic-control regulations.
• Maintain constant awareness of changing traffic and work-zone conditions.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain a professional appearance.
• Assist with general work-zone duties as needed.

Requirements

• Current Flagger Certification preferred.
• Not currently certified? No problem! We will happily put qualified applicants through the required flagging course to obtain their certification.
• Previous flagging or construction experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain a strong focus on safety.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites.
• Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• May be required to complete additional drug testing in accordance with company policy and applicable law.
