Full Time Machine Operator

Since 1995, PRI Plus has specialized in manufacturing label constructions engineered to perform across a wide range of Label Printing Industry applications.

PRI Plus is seeking a full-time Machine Operator to join their team M-F 8:00AM - 4:30PM.

The machine operator is responsible for setting up the roll of paper on press and slitting to a specific width and length per the customer order.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Setting up machine to slit product to customer specifications.
• Load rolls onto press.
• Inspect quality of rolls before production begins and continuously check the quality of the product as it is produced.
• Properly document quality inspections.
• Remove rolls in a timely manner.
• Complete Lockout/Tagout training sessions.
• Relay safety incidents or concerns to management.
• Understand and follow all safety procedures and policies.
• Drive forklift (training will be provided).
• Willing to cross train.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in manufacturing preferred but not required.
• Basic math and proof-reading skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to problem solve and communicate clearly with production & manager.
• Work well independently.
• Willing to cross train on various equip.
• Must be able to stand 8-10 hours per day.
