Kitchens Custodian (Overnights)

In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.

Our state-of-the-art Kitchens department located in La Crosse, WI produces over 40 different food products for approximately 800 retail stores. Kwik Trip customers are able to enjoy everything from our soups, salads, sandwiches to our Pothole Pizzas. With our expansion we are now able to offer a variety of Take Home Meals and finished fruit and vegetable products, all prepared daily by our Kitchens team.

As a Kitchens Custodian you are responsible for all the custodial and sanitation needs for the Kitchens production facility. By joining the team, you will learn the skills necessary to keep the large, fast paced, high volume food manufacturing facility up to our industry leading standards. This position will be responsible for general cleaning and some equipment operation.

Work Schedules:

• Sunday through Wednesday working 8:00pm to 6:00am
• Wednesday through Saturday working 8:00pm to 6:00am

Qualifications:

• Accurate/detail oriented
• Adhere to sanitation/hygiene standards
• Willing to learn/perform variety of job tasks
• Work in a fast paced warehouse environment
• Work in a noisy environment
• Ability to work well alone or as part of a team
• Read/follow instructions and standard operating procedures
• Work in a safety conscious environment
• Ability to self-motivate and carry out daily tasks with minimal supervision
• Ability to operate a variety of cleaning and sanitation equipment
• Work in a variety of temperature conditions

Prior custodial/sanitation experience is a plus

Physical qualifications: Stand up to 10 hours, lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds at waist level occasionally, lift/carry/push/pull up to 30 pounds to 60 inches occasionally, lift/carry/push/pull up to 10 pounds to 72 inches rarely, bending, reaching, twisting, stooping and squatting frequently. work in -20 – 90+ degree F temperatures.

• Starting rate of pay: $18.00 per hour plus additional Overnight Premium Pay of $3.00 per hour
• Weekend Premium Pay: additional $3.00 and hour between the hours of 7:30pm Friday and 5:00am Monday
