Administer and troubleshoot VMware vSAN environments, resolving storage and performance issues as they arise.
Perform capacity planning and performance analysis to proactively identify and address infrastructure growth needs.
Ensure infrastructure operations align with compliance obligations, security requirements, and organizational policies.

Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and sustainment activities.
Document system configurations, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides to support operational continuity.
Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for infrastructure-related outages or performance degradation.

Education and Experience:

Required:

Required Skills and Competencies:

Experience managing the full data lifecycle, including backup, retention, recall, recovery, and deletion processes.
Strong understanding of capacity planning, performance optimization, and infrastructure reporting.
Knowledge of compliance and security requirements applicable to enterprise data center operations.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a large-scale, mission-critical IT environment.

Familiarity with scripting or automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to support infrastructure management.
