Title: Housekeeper Pay: From $12.00 per hour Job description: Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Housekeeping and Laundry Aide, where you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. Your expertise in laundry operations and cleaning procedures will ensure that all linens, garments, and facility spaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness and fabric care. Operate commercial-grade laundry machines including tunnel washers, stackable dryers, conveyor dryers, and garment care machines with precision and adherence to safety procedures. 2. Manage laundry processes such as washing, dry cleaning, bleach washing, fabric care, ironing, pressing, folding, and steam cleaning to ensure garments are spotless and well-maintained. 3. Utilize mechanical stain removal techniques including baking soda stain removal, hot water stain removal, fabric-specific stain treatments like mechanical stain removal, and barrier washer operation. 4. Handle labeling of garments and linens accurately to ensure proper identification and tracking throughout the laundry cycle. 5. Maintain an organized workspace by managing inventory tracking of cleaning supplies, laundry detergents, and garment care products. 6. Operate push carts and tunnel dryers efficiently to transport laundry items safely while maintaining cleanliness standards. 7. Perform routine cleaning of Guest rooms and work areas to uphold hygiene standards 8. Provide excellent customer service by assisting residents or guests needs and responding promptly to special requests or concerns. Qualifications 1. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred. Main responsibility will be cleaning guest rooms. 2. Prior experience operating commercial laundry equipment such as tunnel washers, conveyor dryers, pressing machines, and barrier washers is highly preferred. 3. Knowledge of fabric care techniques including dry cleaning, bleaching, steam cleaning, and stain removal methods like baking soda or hot water treatments. 4. Ability to operate laundry folding machines and perform laundry ironing with attention to detail. 5. Strong understanding of machine operation safety procedures to prevent accidents or damage. 6. Excellent organizational skills for inventory tracking and maintaining a tidy workspace. 7. Customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward residents or guests requiring laundry assistance. 8.
