Director, Customer Development Integration Management Office (IMO)

Job Description

Join the team behind iconic brands like Huggies®, Kleenex®, Cottonelle®, Scott®, Kotex®, Poise®, Depend®, and Kimberly-Clark Professional® At Kimberly-Clark, it’s all here for you - innovation, growth, and the chance to make a real impact.

You’re not the person who will settle for just any role. Neither are we. Because we’re out to create Better Care for a Better World, and that takes a certain kind of person and teams who care about making a difference. Here, you’ll bring your professional expertise, talent, and drive to building and managing our portfolio of iconic, ground-breaking brands. In this role, you’ll help us deliver better care for billions of people around the world. It starts with YOU.

The Director, Customer Development Integration Management Office (IMO) is responsible for leading the North America Customer Development integration agenda. This role serves as the central integration lead across Customer Development workstreams and a key connector to the broader Integration Management Office.

The Director will own the integrated Customer Development roadmap, governance, risk and dependency management, business readiness, and leadership reporting. The role will independently partner with senior leaders across Customer Development, DCC, Finance, Supply Chain, DTS, RGM, Customer Logistics, and other functions to drive alignment, resolve critical issues, and ensure integration priorities are delivered.

Ideal candidates will bring strong customer perspective, strategy, integration, and program management, with the ability to bring structure to ambiguity, influence senior stakeholders, and translate strategy into execution.

About You

In one of our professional roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. Job responsibilities include:

Integration Leadership: Lead the Customer Development integration roadmap across workstreams, ensuring clear milestones, ownership, dependencies, and outcomes.
Governance & Execution: Establish and manage IMO governance, operating rhythms, leadership reviews, and escalation processes; drive accountability against commitments.
Strategic Problem Solving: Structure and solve complex integration challenges, develop fact-based recommendations, and support critical leadership decisions.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Manage dependencies across Customer Development and enabling functions and ensure alignment with the broader North America integration.
Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify and resolve risks, resource constraints, execution gaps, and cross-workstream issues.
Business Readiness & Change: Coordinate organizational, process, system, customer, and ways-of-working readiness across major integration milestones.
Executive Reporting: Provide clear visibility to integration progress, risks, decisions, and areas requiring leadership intervention.
Stakeholder Leadership: Independently engage and influence senior stakeholders across both organizations to maintain alignment and integration momentum.
Customer & Commercial Perspective: Brings a strong understanding of customer needs, retailer dynamics, and Customer Development priorities; ensures integration decisions consider customer impact and protect continuity of customer relationships.
Strategic & Structured Problem Solving: Brings structure to complex and ambiguous problems and develops clear paths forward.
Program Management: Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional programs with multiple workstreams and interdependencies.
Executive Communication: Strong written, verbal, presentation, and PowerPoint skills with the ability to synthesize complex information for senior leaders.
Business Judgment: Strong understanding of business risks, opportunities, and tradeoffs and the ability to drive sound decisions.
Influence & Stakeholder Management: Builds alignment and drives accountability across senior stakeholders without direct authority.
Change Leadership: Understands organizational dynamics and can translate integration decisions into successful business adoption.
Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of CPG, retail, customers, and commercial organizations.
Agility & Ownership: Highly motivated self-starter who operates effectively in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively across functions and organizations.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
7+ years of business experience in customer development, digital commerce, integration management, strategy, transformation, program management, or related fields.
Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives within a large organization.
Experience with large-scale integration, transformation, organizational change, or business process initiatives strongly preferred.
Management consulting, corporate strategy, IMO/PMI, CPG, retail, or commercial experience preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work with and influence senior leaders.
Expected commitment period: November 2026 through December 31, 2027.
