Kforce has a client in need of a Remote Palantir AIP Workflow Engineer.
Summary:
The client is seeking an IT Business Analyst to design and build AI-enabled business applications and workflows within the Palantir Foundry and AIP ecosystem. This hands-on, business-facing role combines business analysis, solution design, Palantir configuration, and light development.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with underwriting, operations, member support, and technology teams to understand business processes and identify opportunities for AI and automation
- Design, configure, and enhance AI-enabled and agentic workflows within Palantir Foundry and AIP
- Configure and extend Palantir Ontology, including business objects, relationships, actions, rules, and workflow logic
- Build workflow solutions supporting underwriting, underwriting operations, and customer/member support
- Translate unstructured information into structured, actionable concepts within the Ontology
- Develop and refine prompts, extraction logic, and AI-driven business processes
- Build and enhance user-facing applications using Palantir Workshop
- Use TypeScript and/or Python for custom functionality and application development
- Translate complex operational needs into practical workflow states, decision points, rules, actions, and user experiences
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual work and improve decision-making through AIP and automation
- Partner with engineering teams when new integrations, data pipelines, or platform changes are required
- Own workflow enhancements from discovery and design through configuration, testing, implementation, and ongoing improvement
- Perform functional testing and QA to ensure solutions meet business requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of experience with business applications, AI workflow platforms, intelligent automation, solution delivery, implementation, or similar technologies
- 3+ years in a business-facing analyst, consulting, implementation, or solutions role
- Experience with Palantir AIP, Ontology, Workshop, Actions, business logic, or application development
- Ability to translate business processes into Ontology objects, relationships, actions, and workflows
- Experience designing or implementing AI-enabled or agentic workflows
- Knowledge of prompt engineering, unstructured data extraction, and AI-assisted automation
- Ability to configure and modify applications, not solely document requirements
- Strong communication and facilitation skills with business and technical stakeholders
- Experience with functional testing and validating solutions against business requirements
Preferred Background:
- Hands-on Palantir Foundry and/or AIP experience strongly preferred
- TypeScript and/or Python experience preferred
- Experience as a Palantir Deployment Strategist, Forward Deployed Engineer, AIP Developer, Foundry Consultant, Solution Architect, Technical Business Analyst, AI Workflow Engineer, or Solutions Engineer
- Strong combination of hands-on Palantir expertise and business process knowledge
- Experience working directly with users to define business problems and build practical technical solutions
- Insurance or financial services experience strongly preferred, particularly within underwriting, underwriting operations, banking, investment banking, financial risk, life and annuity, or property and casualty insurance
