Loan Servicing Specialist

Kforce's client in Newark, DE is seeking an entry-level Loan Servicing Specialist to support syndicated lending operations. This role is ideal for a recent graduate with a degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field who is interested in building a career within commercial banking and lending. The Loan Servicing Specialist will support the day-to-day administration of syndicated loans, helping ensure loan transactions, payments, interest-related activity, and servicing information are processed accurately and on time. The position provides exposure to complex commercial lending arrangements involving borrowers, agent banks, and multiple participating lenders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the ongoing administration and servicing of syndicated and commercial loan transactions
• Process and monitor loan activity, including fundings, principal payments, interest payments, fees, and other cash movements
• Review transaction details and loan documentation to ensure servicing activity is processed accurately
• Assist with loan settlements, reconciliations, and payment processing
• Monitor upcoming loan activity, payment dates, and other servicing requirements
• Maintain accurate loan information within internal servicing systems
• Research and help resolve discrepancies involving payments, balances, rates, or transaction details
• Coordinate with internal lending, operations, finance, and other support teams to facilitate loan activity
• Assist with reporting, recordkeeping, and other operational requirements associated with the syndicated loan portfolio
• Follow established procedures and internal controls to ensure transactions are completed accurately and within required deadlines
• Develop an understanding of syndicated lending structures, loan agreements, interest calculations, and commercial banking operations
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics preferred; Accounting, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline may also be considered
• Entry-level candidates and recent college graduates are encouraged to apply

• Comfortable working with financial data and transaction-oriented information
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheets, formulas, sorting/filtering, and basic data analysis
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines in a structured environment
• Interest in commercial banking, corporate lending, syndicated loans, or financial operations

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
