Audit Supervisor

Kforce's client, a regional public accounting firm in Parsippany, NJ is seeking an Audit Supervisor. This firm offers opportunity for advancement and ability to work on diverse industries.

Key Tasks:

• The Audit Supervisor will manage multiple audit and review engagements
• Review/Train/Supervise engagement staff
• Responsible for all phases of an engagement and resolving all legal, regulatory and accounting issues that arise during an audit engagement
• Reviewing all scheduled and non-scheduled general ledger accounts for accurate entries
• Audit/review/compile annual financial statements
• Audit Supervisor will conduct constructive discussions with team member on their evaluations and providing counsel accordingly
• Assist with billing and collections
• Staying current on new pronouncements or accounting literature
• Serving in professional development programs as an instructor or discussion leader
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• CPA or parts passed
• 5+ years of prior experience working in audit within a public accounting firm
• Experience supervising and mentoring staff
• Strong communication and leadership skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
