Angular - AI Application Engineer

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Angular - AI Application Engineer in Charlotte, NC.

Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Angular/AI Application Engineer to join a team building and enhancing modern enterprise applications while incorporating AI into the software development lifecycle. This is a hands-on engineering role requiring strong Angular fundamentals combined with practical experience using AI to improve how software is built, tested, and maintained.

Key Tasks:

• Build and enhance enterprise applications using Angular and TypeScript
• Develop complex state-management solutions using NGRX, RXJS, and observables
• Incorporate AI and agent-based workflows into the software development lifecycle
• Use context engineering and prompt engineering to improve AI-assisted development
• Review, troubleshoot, and validate AI-generated code
• Develop scalable, maintainable solutions within a collaborative Agile environment
• Strong hands-on Angular and TypeScript development experience
• Strong experience with NGRX, RXJS, observables, and state management
• Practical experience using AI tools within software development
• Understanding of LLMs, AI agents, and agent-based workflows
• Experience with prompt and/or context engineering
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with the ability to independently evaluate and troubleshoot AI-generated code
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience building or extending AI agent workflows
• Experience with skills/agent configuration files, hooks, or event-driven workflows
• Redux or comparable enterprise state-management experience
• Experience working within an AI-enabled SDLC

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
