Accounts Payable Specialist

Kforce's client, a government-funded law firm right outside of Old City Philadelphia, is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist who wants to grow their career and enjoys really digging into the details. A big part of the role is processing invoices and expense reports, but because of their government funding, everything needs to be carefully reviewed and audited.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Process approximately 80 employee expense reports and 50 invoices monthly
• Process paper checks
• Utilize QuickBooks for financial/accounting functions
• Ensure invoices are routed to the appropriate parties, electronically or via paper
• Apply and verify accounting codes
• Extract and download information from accounting systems and validate accuracy
• Maintain W-9 documentation
• Handle vendor management
• Review and process employee expense reports
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in AP
• Automated systems experience
• Entering bills into systems experience
• General Knowledge of Accounting Principles
• Super nice to have: Concur & Quickbooks experience

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
