Keysight is at the forefront of technology innovation, delivering breakthroughs and trusted insights in electronic design, simulation, prototyping, test, manufacturing, and optimization. Our ~16,800 employees create world-class solutions in communications, 5G, automotive, energy, quantum, aerospace, defense, and semiconductor markets for customers in over 100 countries. Learn more about what we do.
Our award-winning culture embraces a bold vision of where technology can take us and a passion for tackling challenging problems with industry-first solutions. We believe that when people feel a sense of belonging, they can be more creative, innovative, and thrive at all points in their careers.
We are the Digital and Photonics R&D team responsible for Keysight's sampling oscilloscope portfolio. Engineers worldwide use our scopes to characterize high-speed optical and electrical signals for data center, AI infrastructure, and telecom applications. We are seeking a highly motivated Software R&D Engineer to contribute to sampling oscilloscope application development while strengthening the build, release, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes that deliver this software to customers and manufacturing. This is a hybrid role that combines hands-on application development with DevOps engineering. You will write production code for related sampling oscilloscope applications, and you will help the build/release leader to modernize the pipelines, tooling, and release processes that build, test, secure, and ship that software. This position is ideal for an early-career engineer who enjoys writing software and true passions for improving how quality software is built and delivered.
Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain measurement, analysis, and instrument-control features, under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Create customer-facing software features that simplify complex measurement workflows and improve user experience.
- Investigate, reproduce, and resolve issues reported by customers, manufacturing, and internal partners, working closely with hardware, QA, and support teams.
Build, Release & DevOps
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps that build, test, package, and release software.
- Automate build versioning, installer creation, code signing, and artifact management to make releases faster, more reliable, and more repeatable.
- Support source control and branching strategies and contribute to source control modernization.
- Support the release process, including beta and release-candidate builds, release checkpoints, and delivery of software to manufacturing and customers.
- Develop scripts, tools, and dashboards that improve developer productivity and show build health and quality metrics.
