Tapping Operator - 2nd Shift

General Production Associates Hours: Hours: 2nd Shift Available: 3:00PM - 11:30PM 2 months training on 1st Shift. Compensation: $19.75 plus a $1.50 shift premium on 2nd Shiftwith an additional $1.00 attendance bonus for working 40 hrs. per week. What's The Job? - Setup and operate a variety of tapping machines to produce quality products. - Plan and perform close tolerance setups with little or no assistance. - Use scales, microscopes, micrometers, calipers and fixed gages to check and gage work. - Load and unload product in the process using a forklift - Must be able to read and follow process standards, control plans and work instructions - Starts machine, observes operation, inspect first run and sample work pieces to ensure part conforms to specifications. - Remove and install specified tooling at changeovers and make all necessary adjustments.
