POSITION: SUBSTITUTE TEACHER

Effective 2025-26 School Year

LOCATION: DISTRICT-WIDE

GENERAL INFORMATION: Kettering City Schools is accepting applications for Substitute Teachers to work on an as-needed basis. Applicants must have a minimum of a BACHELOR’S DEGREE with a valid Ohio Teaching/Substitute License. Upon appointment, please bring your Driver’s License, Social Security Card, and Official transcripts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follows daily objectives and lesson plans.
• Supervises and manages all classroom activities.
• To see all assigned children are kept in a safe environment.
• To follow the instructions of Building Principals.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Ohio teaching/ Substitute Teaching License.
• Must pass criminal background checks and pre-employment drug screening.
• Collaboration and problem-solving skills.
• Educational technology skills.

SALARY: $130.00/day
