Warehouse Associate / Order Picker

Monday – Friday 6AM -3PM

Pay rate: $20/HR

Position Overview

Assemble, pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment. Use a scanner and warehouse management system to pick orders and put away received materials.

This is a non-driving assignment. Workers selected for this role must not perform any driving responsibilities at any time during the assignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and fill orders for shipment to customers or other divisions.
• Load and unload common-carrier and company vehicles.
• Prepare customer orders for UPS and LTL shipment.
• Verify shipment items and quantities against invoices and customer instructions.
• Complete shipping paperwork, including bills of lading; apply postage tape and arrange insurance when required.
• Pack orders into containers and place them on shelves according to truck route.
• Count merchandise and record total quantities on invoices.
• Use a scanner and warehouse management system to pick orders and put away received materials.
• Support other warehouse personnel as needed and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Warehouse and order-picking experience, with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Stable work history and an updated resume.
• Reliable attendance and strong accountability.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet performance targets and deadlines.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to perform basic math and organize and prioritize tasks.
• Effective communication skills to support customer requirements.
• General knowledge of electrical products.
• Work boots required.
