About the Role

As a Tool Crib Assistant in Byhalia, MS, you’ll help keep tools and equipment organized, maintained, and ready for use. You’ll receive incoming packages, manage tool check-in and check-out, assist with maintenance and calibration, and support the Engineering team with daily tasks. This hands-on role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with tools, following instructions, and helping a team stay productive.

Schedule

• Shift: Weekend (Days)
• Friday–Sunday
• 4:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. or 4:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m.

What You’ll Do

• Receive packages from the shipping and receiving area.
• Check tools in and out using Jabil’s internal application.
• Perform tool maintenance and calibration.
• Support Engineering with day-to-day activities and requirements.
• Build basic assemblies, such as shelves and carts.
• Follow visual aids and work instructions to complete tasks safely and accurately.

Must-Have Skills

• Comfortable using hand and power tools, including screwdrivers.
• Able to use measuring devices and gauges.
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to read and understand visual aids, simple instructions, and short written correspondence.
• Able to write simple correspondence.

Nice to Have

• Microsoft PowerPoint experience.
