Shift: flexible hours, including overtime as needed

What’s a typical day as Shipping and Receiving Worker? You’ll be:

• Inspecting incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and damage.
• Verifying packing slips against purchase orders and documenting discrepancies.
• Unloading materials and products from delivery trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
• Entering received products into the inventory management system accurately.
• Labeling and organizing products in the warehouse for easy access and retrieval.
• Conducting regular inventory counts and assisting in maintaining inventory levels.
• Maintaining accurate records of incoming shipments and completing all necessary paperwork.
• Collaborating with warehouse team members and other departments to coordinate the flow of materials.
• Communicating effectively with suppliers and logistics personnel regarding shipment issues.
• Adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Assisting with packing and shipping orders, and participating in training and development activities.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Possess previous experience in a warehouse or receiving role (a plus).
• Are familiar with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
• Can safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification may be required).
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Have good physical stamina and can lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
• Excel in communication and teamwork.
• Are comfortable working in a warehouse environment with exposure to noise and varying temperatures.
• Are able to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
