You’ll work alongside experienced service professionals, gaining hands-on experience with equipment, maintenance, troubleshooting, and system operations while helping deliver safe, dependable service to customers.

What you’ll do

  • Assist with routine operations, inspections, preventive maintenance, and service work on treatment and utility systems.
  • Help inspect and maintain pumps, valves, piping, tanks, instruments, and other process equipment.
  • Support equipment installations, replacements, and repairs under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Help investigate equipment or system issues and carry out corrective actions with supervision.
  • Learn to use and interpret P&IDs, equipment layouts, technical drawings, manuals, and operating procedures.
  • Check equipment condition and bring operational concerns, installation issues, or safety observations to the attention of your supervisor.
  • Assist with system startups, commissioning, operational testing, and performance checks.
  • Help organize tools, materials, and equipment needed for site work.
  • Enter service information, maintenance records, and material requests in company systems.
  • Prepare clear service reports, inspection records, maintenance logs, and issue documentation.
  • Share work progress and equipment status with supervisors, coworkers, customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Follow company and customer safety practices, environmental requirements, and site procedures.
  • Participate in outage support, emergency service work, and after-hours activities when needed.
  • Take on other field and site support tasks as assigned.

What you’ll bring

  • An associate degree, technical certificate, or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field - such as mechanical or environmental engineering, construction management, industrial technology, or facilities maintenance - is preferred.
  • Up to two years of experience in industrial maintenance, field service, plant operations, water or wastewater treatment, construction support, or a related area.
  • A basic understanding of mechanical equipment, including pumps, valves, piping, instruments, and process systems.
  • The ability to follow technical instructions and work from drawings, manuals, and procedures.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and electronic recordkeeping tools.
  • Clear communication, good organization, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach.
