About the Role

Assurant is seeking four proactive, detail-oriented Associate Talent Acquisition Partners to join our centralized recruiting team in a fully remote capacity. In this high-volume hiring role, you will be the front-line ambassador of Assurant’s Employer Value Proposition (EVP), executing structured candidate screenings and ensuring a seamless, human-centric candidate experience from application through interview coordination.

If you thrive in high-energy, fast-paced recruiting operations, pride yourself on pristine ATS data hygiene, and have a passion for connecting great talent with rewarding careers, this is an exceptional opportunity to accelerate your career in Talent Acquisition and Human Resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Candidate Screening & Qualification (35%): Conduct structured phone and video screens against baseline job criteria; evaluate qualifications, assess organizational fit, and provide transparent, engaging updates regarding next steps.
  • Application Review & Candidate Progression (20%): Review inbound applicant pipelines across recruiting platforms; advance qualified applicants, disposition non-matching candidates, and maintain frictionless candidate progression.
  • Candidate Experience & Brand Ambassadorship (15%): Deliver warm, supportive, and professional interactions at all early-stage touchpoints, articulating Assurant’s core values and culture using approved EVP messaging.
  • Data & Requisition Hygiene (15%): Strictly uphold established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) - including time-to-contact, time-to-move, and time-to-fill metrics. Maintain meticulous notes, compliance documentation, and audit-ready requisition pipelines.
  • Interview Scheduling & Logistics (10%): Partner with Recruiting Coordinators and Senior TA Partners to coordinate multi-round interview calendars, issue candidate confirmations, and ensure interview readiness.
  • Technology & Playbook Utilization (5%): Leverage standardized screening guides, recruiting tech stacks, and approved playbooks; troubleshoot workflow hurdles and escalate exceptions promptly.

Candidate Qualifications

Required:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in talent acquisition coordination, candidate screening, high-volume customer service, or fast-paced business operations.
  • Communication & Empathy: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly, de-escalate candidate anxiety, and safeguard confidential HR information.
  • Organizational Agility: Exceptional attention to detail with the proven ability to manage high-volume candidate queues and meet tight SLA deadlines.
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable navigating applicant tracking systems (ATS), scheduling software, and structured digital workflows with high data integrity.

Preferred:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Prior experience supporting high-volume hiring (contact center, customer service, or operational roles).
  • Hands-on familiarity with modern recruiting platforms such as Workday, Beamery, or Paradox.
  • Demonstrated interest in building a long-term career within Talent Acquisition / Human Resources.

Working Conditions

  • Environment: 100% remote workspace. Standard office equipment operation (computer, headset, multi-line virtual telephony).
  • Physical Requirements: Sedentary desk environment; occasional light handling or repositioning of office materials up to 15 lbs.
