Peli Biothermal designs, manufactures and services the packaging solutions that protect the medicines that save lives. Every day, countless treatments need to be transported to those that need them. A single dose may cost over $100,000 and be someone’s last hope of beating a terrible illness. As they travel, by road and air, these medicines need to be kept safe and at very precise temperatures. Their journeys might take them from dry heat in India, to frozen conditions in Iceland. It’s our job to ensure they remain safe, effective and ready to save lives – no matter the conditions.

Job Overview:

• Pay: $23.50/hour
• Work schedule: 3rd shift, 11pm – 7:30am, Sunday-Thursday.
• Training: will train on 1st or 2nd shift for the first few weeks. Those shifts are 5:30am – 4pm, Monday- Thursday or 3:45pm – 2:30am Monday -Thursday
• Long term with potential for temporary to hire

Your duties will include:

• Inspecting up parts and components in a manufacturing environment
• Using calipers and rulers to take visual measurements
• Acceptable quality limit (AQL) testing on batches of products
• Pressure checks and failure testing
• Data entry of measurements into Excel
• Working within a busy manufacturing environment

Qualifications:

• Previous quality assurance experience in a manufacturing setting
• Experience using quality hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, and rulers
• Interest in learning new skills and growing with the company
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Ability to work independently, while also working well with teammates
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent attendance record and punctuality
• Safety shoes required
