Production Operator - Mansfield, OH

Pay: $19.80 per hour

Regular schedule: 3rd shift, 9:30 p.m.–6:00 a.m.

Training schedule: 1st shift, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., for approximately 90–100 days

Kelly Services is hiring a Production Operator for a manufacturing opportunity in Mansfield, Ohio. This hands-on role involves soldering, assembling products, following technical drawings, and checking finished work against quality specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform soldering operations using soldering irons and torches.
• Assemble a variety of products with multiple parts and close tolerances.
• Read and follow blueprints and wire schematics.
• Use measuring instruments to check parts against quality requirements.
• Finish relays with nameplates, decals, hardware, stamps, and touch-up paint.
• Perform potting and encapsulation operations.
• Help with packing and shipping duties.
• Work as part of a team, share work, and contribute to problem-solving.
• Train other employees as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing or soldering experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and wire schematics is a plus.
• Comfortable using measuring instruments, hand tools, soldering irons, and power tools safely.
• ESD training and J-STD-001 solder certification are preferred.
• Must meet applicable requirements for working with items subject to export-control laws. The employer may need to verify eligibility or obtain required authorization before providing access to controlled items.
