Production Operator (2nd shift)

Role Overview

• Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM EST (Includes two 30-min lunch breaks)
• Training Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST before transitioning to the 2nd shift.
• Duration: 6 months (temp-to-perm potential based on performance and openings)
• Pay Rate: $25.30/hr.
• Location: Davie FL, 33314

Role Summary: Set up, operate, clean, and maintain drug manufacturing and packaging machinery (mixers, dryers, tablet presses, labelers) while adhering to cGMP guidelines, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and batch records.

Core Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: 1+ year in a fast-paced cGMP environment (pharmaceutical, medical device, nutraceutical, or food) preferred.
• Skills: Strong English written/verbal skills, basic math, computer literacy (MS Office, ERP/LMS), and high attention to detail.
• Physical Demands: Routinely lift 25 lbs (up to 50+ lbs with assistance); push/pull heavy materials; extended standing, bending, and reaching.
• GMP Policy: Strict no-jewelry policy in production areas (only plain wedding bands with no stones permitted).
• Pre-Employment Screenings: Background check, 11-Panel Drug Screen (+ Fentanyl), and comprehensive medical screenings (vision, hearing, spirometry/respirator fit, physical/lifting assessment).
