Bakery Process Operator – 1st Shift

Pay Rate: $20.14 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift | 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM

Schedule: 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule

Location: Mebane, NC

Pay Frequency: Weekly

Position Summary

We are seeking dependable and hardworking Bakery Process Operators to join our production team! In this role, you will assist with daily bakery production operations by operating machinery, performing quality inspections, and supporting the movement of materials throughout the production area.

The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to transport materials and products throughout the facility.
• Operate bakery production machinery and equipment.
• Perform routine quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet company standards.
• Monitor production processes and report equipment or product issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.
• Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures.
• Walk extensively throughout the production area during the shift.
• Assist with additional production duties as assigned.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Fast-paced bakery manufacturing environment.
• Extensive walking throughout the production floor.
• Ability to remain active and on your feet for extended periods.
• Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift.
• Must follow all required safety and food production guidelines.
