Material Handler – 1st Shift

Location: Fort Wayne, IN

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.

Compensation: $17.28/hour (weekly pay)

Type: Contract-to-Hire

Overview:

Kelly is seeking motivated, full-time Material Handlers to support warehouse operations at a leading distribution center in Fort Wayne, IN. Join our 1st shift team and play a key role in keeping materials moving efficiently for production and shipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport materials between receiving, storage, and production areas
• Sort and organize products by code, location, or other criteria
• Accurately label and track materials
• Count or weigh items to verify inventory accuracy
• Enter inventory data into warehouse computer systems
• Assist with general warehouse tasks as required

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Previous warehouse or material handling experience desirable
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Must pass a background check and drug screening

Work Environment & Additional Information:

• Indoor, climate-controlled warehouse workspace
• Steel toe shoes required (safety vest provided)
• Occasional extended hours may be necessary to complete orders
