Material Handler

Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour

2nd Shift: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, 5:00 PM – 1:30 AM

What’s a typical day as Material Handler? You’ll be:

• Performing various material handling duties manually or using a hand truck within the facility
• Loading finished product onto pallets or hand trucks as required
• Stacking skids or pallets in assigned storage or staging areas
• Loading and unloading freight efficiently, safely, and accurately
• Picking and packing customer orders for shipment
• Applying labels to shipments based on company and customer requirements
• Processing orders, consolidating freight, wrapping pallets, packing, loading, and completing shipment confirmations
• Verifying freight accuracy and checking for damage or infestation
• Assisting with physical inventories and cycle counts
• Using RF scanning devices for accurate inventory management
• Providing general cleaning and sanitation services to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Performing other duties as assigned by management

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have 6+ Months of relative experience
• Have a High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
• Possess strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Can stand and walk for extended periods (up to 10-12 hours per shift)
• Are able to lift, carry, push, and pull between 10 lbs and 50 lbs without restriction
• Are comfortable with frequent bending, stooping, squatting, climbing, crouching, stretching, and reaching above shoulder level
• Can work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions, and temperature fluctuations
• Are available to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Have experience with heavy product lifting/stacking (preferred)
• Are bilingual (preferred, not required)
