Payrate: $22.50 per hour

Shift: 12 hour rotating shift, 5pm-5am

What’s a typical day as Machine Operator II? You’ll be:

• Operating machinery used in the production process to ensure efficient workflow
• Examining products for compliance with quality standards
• Observing equipment operations, troubleshooting malfunctions, and making necessary adjustments
• Cleaning and lubricating equipment to maintain peak performance
• Loading and unloading items using manual methods or forklifts
• Lifting raw materials, finished products, and packed items as required
• Maintaining a strong working knowledge of safety procedures and environmental regulations

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Possess basic written and verbal communication skills
• Have demonstrated ability to work in a safety-conscious and quality-controlled environment
• Are skilled in equipment operations and troubleshooting
• Can work with computerized control systems
• Can maintain good working relationships with other facility personnel
• Are able to tolerate exposure to hot and cold conditions, depending on the season
• (Preferred) Hold a high school diploma or GED
• (Preferred) Have 2-4 years of experience, ideally with a background in agriculture or manufacturing
• (Preferred) Demonstrate strong mechanical and basic computer skills
