Machine Operator

Kelly® is hiring Machine Operators in North Charleston, SC!

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $22-$23 per hour

Shifts: 1st (10:00am to 6:30pm) and 2nd shift (2:30pm to 11:00pm) + Mandatory OT

What’s a typical day as Machine Operator? You’ll be:

• Programming, setting up, and operating CNC Press Brake (preferably Amada), gantry style vertical mill, and/or CNC Punch Press/Laser machines
• Communicating effectively with production leads and team members
• Inspecting production parts to ensure quality standards
• Maintaining a clean and safe workspace in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Collaborating with quality and safety teams to drive continuous improvement

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have at least 2 years’ experience in programming and setup of CNC machinery
• Can read and interpret 2D prints and 3D models
• Possess knowledge of cutting tools and CAT40 setup
• Are skilled with measurement instruments
• Are physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, and bend frequently
• Can thrive in a non-climate-controlled production environment
• Are available to work mandatory overtime as required
