- Supplier Relationship Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders, building productive relationships while ensuring quality, service, and cost-effectiveness.
- Contract Development & Negotiation: Develop requests for proposals (RFPs), support contract negotiations, and coordinate purchasing agreements and professional services contracts in partnership with the Legal department.
- Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce expenses, improve purchasing processes, and enhance supplier performance while maintaining service standards.
- Purchasing Administration: Oversee purchasing documentation, financial coding, supplier vetting, invoice and payment issues, and compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Policy & Process Improvement: Help develop and maintain procurement policies, procedures, controls, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supplier Performance: Monitor supplier performance, evaluate service levels, and implement improvements to strengthen purchasing outcomes.
- Corporate Office Coordination: Coordinate day-to-day office operations at the corporate headquarters, including vendor relationships, janitorial services, office supply inventory, furniture, workspace configuration, and maintenance needs.
- Equipment & Facilities Purchasing: Source, evaluate, negotiate, and purchase office and warehouse equipment and services for headquarters and field locations as needed.
- Budget Management: Assist with developing annual budgets, monitoring expenditures, and managing spending within established budget parameters.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal departments and stakeholders to support purchasing needs, facilities projects, and broader organizational initiatives.
- Additional Projects: Contribute to special projects and other responsibilities as business needs evolve.

- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with an interest in process improvement and cost savings.
- The ability to build effective relationships with suppliers, colleagues, and business partners.
Ideal Candidate Profile
