3rd Shift Bracket Welder

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 8:30 p.m.–5:00 a.m., with overtime from 5:00–6:00 a.m.

Job Description

Kelly, in partnership with Cummins in Forest City, NC, is hiring a 3rd Shift Bracket Welder to support axle manufacturing and bracket welding operations. In this role, you’ll follow manufacturing instructions, perform weld and quality checks, document rework, and help maintain a clean and safe work area.

Responsibilities

• Weld brackets and support dowel welding and weld rework as needed.
• Follow standard work instructions and complete setup and validation checks.
• Perform daily quality checks, shift preparation, and 5S cleanup.
• Record quality issues and rework in Excel.
• Communicate with team members, leadership, Quality, and Engineering.
• Work scheduled overtime and adapt to production needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience and 1 year of training or mentoring experience.
• Weld certification and in-house Plate Test certification.
• Able to read and follow manufacturing instructions, communicate effectively, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to perform all work safely and follow standard operating procedures.
