Associate Chemist
Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking an Associate Chemist for a contract-to-hire position with a growing biotechnology & manufacturing client in Malvern PA.
Schedule: M-F, 1st shift (9AM-5PM)
Location: Malvern, PA
Duration: 6mo contract to hire
Compensation: $25-27/hr
SUMMARY
Under supervision, performs testing of and provides production support to incoming raw materials, in-process samples and finished products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS
- Under supervision, tests incoming raw materials and finished products for intended use and to ensure they perform to the manufacturer’s specifications.
- Performs all testing in accordance with Company SOPs.
- Informs supervisor immediately of any out-of-specification products.
- Properly documents all test results.
- Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by a supervisor.
- BA/BS in Chemistry/Biology (or related)
- 0-2yrs of related industry experience
- Wet Chemistry experience (weighing, pipetting, titration)
- Instrumental skills – GC, HPLC, FTIR, autotitrator, etc preferred
- Basic computer skills (MS Outlook, MS Word, Excel)
- Experience with and/or the ability to learn Agilent OpenLAB is a plus
