Production Assembler

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Production Assembler to join our manufacturing team for a Temp-to-Hire opportunity. In this role, you will build and assemble commercial refrigeration units, ensuring all mechanical and structured components meet standard operating procedures and technical blueprints. WORK SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION

• Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire (Long-term career potential based on performance, quality, and attendance)
• Schedule: First Shift - 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Monday through Friday)
• Overtime: Required as needed, including occasional extended weekdays and Saturdays
• Starting Pay: $17.50 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Refrigeration Assembly: Efficiently assemble structural frames, insulation, panels, and mechanical components for commercial refrigeration units according to technical specifications and blueprints.
• Tool Operation: Safely and proficiently operate a variety of hand tools, pneumatic equipment, and cordless drills to secure fasteners, rivets, and hardware.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain a strict quality-focused mindset, inspecting seams, gaskets, and alignments to prevent leaks and ensure a high-performing final product.
• Brazing & Electrical Integration: Support the installation of copper lines, coils, and basic electrical wiring harnesses or controls (experience highly preferred).
• Line Collaboration: Work cooperatively on a fast-paced assembly line, communicating effectively with team members to safely hit daily production goals.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Technical Skills: Proven proficiency with manual hand tools, power tools, and cordless drills.
• Physical Demands: Ability to regularly lift, move, and carry heavy materials weighing up to 50 lbs. unassisted, alongside standing, bending, and reaching for the duration of an 8-hour shift.
• Compliance: Strict adherence to all operational protocols, safety policies, and the company attendance program. Consistent, punctual attendance is an absolute requirement for hire-on consideration.
• Preferred Experience: Prior experience in commercial HVAC, industrial refrigeration, copper pipe brazing, or electrical assembly is highly valued.

• Steel-toe boots or shoes (required)

• Face shield (as required depending on assigned work area)
