KenCrest Services is hiring compassionate, dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for consistent weekend-only schedules supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Weekend Schedules Openings are available across multiple homes in Stratford and Ansonia. Schedules vary by home, and candidates will be matched to a specific opening based on availability.

Current schedules may include:

• Sat & Sun | 7 AM to 2 PM
• Sat & Sun | 7 AM to 3 PM
• Sat | 8 AM to 8 PM
• Sat & Sun | 8 AM to 8 PM
• Sat 8 AM to 8 PM + Sun 8 AM to 10 PM

You'll work a consistent weekend schedule at your assigned home. Additional shifts may be available to pick up for those looking for extra hours.

What You'll Do Support individuals with daily living activities, personal care, meals, medication administration, household routines, community activities, and personal goals while helping them build greater independence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record required
• Minimum 3 years licensed driving experience required
• Advanced ability to convey, understand, and follow spoken and written instructions in English required
• IDD experience preferred, but we'll train otherwise qualified candidates
• Must successfully complete required background checks
• Paid training provided

Important Training Requirement New hires must be available for mandatory New Employee Orientation Monday through Friday, plus an additional Monday, from 9 AM to 4 PM.
