Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and launch innovative AI-powered features and customer-facing applications.
• Build sophisticated LLM applications, autonomous agents, and production-ready AI pipelines.
• Rapidly prototype new product concepts and transform successful proofs of concept into scalable production systems.
• Collaborate directly with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to shape product strategy and technical direction.
• Architect scalable backend systems, APIs, and AI integrations.
• Evaluate LLM architectures, frameworks, and methodologies to identify the most effective technical solutions.
• Develop intelligent data agents capable of answering complex analytics and business questions.
• Integrate AI capabilities into existing data platforms and customer workflows.
• Make critical architectural decisions balancing scalability, reliability, performance, and development speed.
• Take ownership of the complete product development lifecycle, from ideation through deployment and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• 5–12 years of professional software engineering experience, with significant ownership of core product development.

• Experience working in high-growth, venture-backed startups, ideally Series B–F.
• Strong backend engineering and software architecture experience.
• Proven ability to build, launch, and scale customer-facing software products.
• Experience developing complex AI applications, including LLM-powered workflows, agents, or intelligent automation.
• Strong product intuition and the ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Experience working in fast-paced environments with rapid development and deployment cycles.
• Demonstrated career progression through promotions, increased technical responsibility, or expanding product ownership.
• Strong academic background in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a closely related technical discipline, preferably from a leading university.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with flexibility to visit the office occasionally.

• Experience building products involving customer data, analytics, marketing technology, or enterprise automation.
• Experience taking products from 0-to-1 and iterating based on customer feedback.
• Strong TypeScript development experience.
• Background working closely with founders, CTOs, or senior product leadership.
• Experience evaluating different AI models, frameworks, and approaches for production use.
