JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for finding nursing agencies in service areas under the direction of the AVP of Nursing Networks. The Lead Nursing Outsourcing Specialist works closely with the facility Nursing Departments and assists with coordination for outsourced patients. Assists with the management of agencies credentialing documents. This position includes establishing and maintaining positive relationships with home health agencies and mentoring outsourcing coordinators.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assists with finding home health agencies as needed for new territories.
2. Assists the branches with outsourcing needs and coordination of care.
3. Serves as liaison between KabaFusion branches and outsourced home health nursing agencies.
4. Carefully tracks and maintains agencies credentials and upload to SharePoint.
5. Maintains tracking of agency credentialing and providing report to Licensing Team.
6. Enters agency updates in Contract Logix database.
7. Maintains current agency contacts and pricing spreadsheet as needed when items change.
8. Assists with CVL and nursing invoice auditing.
9. Directs communication about agencies clinical and/or billing issues to the AVP of Nursing Networks. In a timely manner.
10. Assists facilities with updating patient records including visits in CVL when assigned.
11. Assists Nursing Invoice Auditor when assigned.
12. Works with nursing education staff to schedule training with agencies as identified needs arise.
13. Creates and maintains contracts for Nursing agencies.
14. Sends necessary documents to new agencies for credentialing and updates agencies of any changes to be implemented.
15. Mentors and trains outsourcing coordinators.
16. Manages the daily assignment for other outsourcing coordinators.
17. Supports AVP of Nursing Networks with administrative tasks as needed.
18. Performs other related duties as required by the supervisor.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Strong computer knowledge and keyboarding skills
• Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to communication in a consultative manner via telephone
• Demonstrated MS Excel skills including report creation, editing and Pivot Table creation
• Ability to work independently with high degree of accuracy and speed
• Proficient organizational skills and prioritizes work independently, knows when to contact manager for support.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Associate degree in business or related field or in lieu of degree, related healthcare work experience as a scheduler, care coordinator or similar position
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in home healthcare, home infusion or relevant detail-orientedadministrative positions
