Original job description

Shape how merchants protect, manage, and unlock value from payment credentials at scale. In this role, you will turn complex payments infrastructure into simple, high-impact client solutions. You will lead the strategy and delivery for tokenization and vault services, with a focus on credential management, reporting experiences, and developer-friendly integrations. If you enjoy partnering across product, engineering, sales, and marketing to deliver outcomes clients can measure, this team is for you.

As a Product Solutions Vice President in Merchant Services, you will lead the product strategy and delivery of our tokenization and vault services to help merchants store, manage, and optimize payment credentials securely and seamlessly. You will translate complex platform capabilities into intuitive client experiences, including clear performance reporting and simple integration journeys. You will work closely with partners across product, engineering, sales, and marketing to deliver measurable client outcomes and accelerate adoption.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead product strategy, roadmap, and delivery for vault services and token services, including credential management, standalone tokenization, metadata, and access controls
  • Drive product direction for tokenization offerings, from provisioning and lifecycle management through how merchants access and use tokens across channels and solutions
  • Define vault interactions for credential management, including how merchants store, update, share, and permission credentials across their business model
  • Own the efficacy reporting experience, including insights, data, dashboards, and notifications that show attributable authorization uplift and cost savings by product
  • Own the client interaction layer for the vault, including the APIs merchants use to manage credentials, tokens, and permissions
  • Define data requirements and success metrics with product, engineering, and data partners so reporting is accurate, consistent, and actionable for clients
  • Develop and refine go-to-market materials (e.g., product documentation, value propositions, FAQs) to enable commercial teams, and partner on external content (e.g., landing pages, white papers, campaigns)
  • Analyze client, pilot, and pipeline performance data across lead, opportunity, and contract stages to identify trends, measure impact, and recommend priorities and improvements
  • Partner with product and engineering to define requirements, document use cases, and translate client and commercial feedback into actionable enhancements
  • Partner cross-functionally to drive alignment, execution, and delivery of strategic initiatives across the product lifecycle

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 7+ years of experience in payments, merchant services, financial technology, or e-commerce, including hands-on work in tokenization, credential management, or data security products
  • Experience defining client-facing APIs, including developer experience, integration journeys, and documentation for credential, tokenization, or vault use cases
  • Working knowledge of network tokens (provisioning, lifecycle updates, and network and issuer interactions) and acquirer or processor token solutions
  • Experience defining reporting, insights, or analytics products, including metrics, data requirements, and client-facing dashboards
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and commercial teams to deliver outcomes
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and business metrics
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including with senior leaders
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and operate with a high degree of independence

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Familiarity with payment optimization strategies (e.g., authorization optimization, account updater capabilities, network token adoption) and card-data compliance considerations
  • Experience using AI to accelerate the product lifecycle (e.g., drafting requirements, synthesizing feedback, analyzing data) or applying advanced analytics to product decisions and client-facing solutions
  • Experience with platform products and translating technical architecture into clear client value
  • Experience developing customer journeys, personas, and requirements
  • Experience working directly with customers to gather feedback and conduct needs assessments; consulting experience is a plus
  • Experience supporting product pilots, launches, or commercialization efforts
  • Experience with data and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Salesforce, or similar)
