New ideas are all around us, but only a few will change the world. That’s our focus at JPL. We ask the biggest questions, then search the universe for answers - literally. We build upon ideas that have guided generations, then share our discoveries to inspire generations to come. Your mission - your opportunity - is to seek out the answers that bring us one step closer. If you’re driven to discover, create, and inspire something that lasts a lifetime and beyond, you’re ready for JPL.

- Interface with systems, electrical, mechanical, software, manufacturing, and operations teams.
- Support installation, checkout, commissioning, and maintenance of ground support systems.
- Analyze test data and document results, failures, root causes, and corrective actions.
- Support test readiness reviews and other engineering reviews.
- Work with suppliers and technicians to resolve GSE and test-equipment issues.
- Follow configuration management, safety, quality, and testing procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with a minimum of 3 years of related work experience; Masters in a similar discipline with a minimum of 1 year of related work experience; PhD in a similar discipline with a minimum of 0 years of related work experience.
- Experience with spacecraft, aerospace, or other complex electromechanical systems integration and test.
- Experience developing, configuring, operating ground support equipment and test systems.
- Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and system interface documentation.
- Experience developing and executing engineering test procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across hardware and software interfaces.
- Ability to work hands-on with engineering hardware and test equipment.
- Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary engineering and test environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with spacecraft electrical ground support equipment (EGSE).
- Experience with spacecraft integration facilities, testbeds, simulators, and flight-like hardware.
- Familiarity with spacecraft avionics, command and data handling, power systems, telecommunications, and flight software interfaces.
- Experience with test automation, scripting, and data analysis using Python or similar tools.
- Experience with laboratory instrumentation and test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, DMMs, network analyzers, and data acquisition systems.
- Experience with configuration management and change control for flight and ground systems.
