Substitute School Bus Driver

This role offers the opportunity to support our school district by ensuring students travel safely to and from school and school-sponsored events. Ideal candidates are safety-focused, skilled in vehicle operation, and capable of maintaining a positive environment on board. Substitute Bus Drivers play a vital role in maintaining transportation continuity and supporting the daily operations of our district. No Minimum Hours: Whether you want to work four days a week or one day a month, there is no mandatory commitment. Responsibilities - Safely operate school buses and transport students along designated routes and schedules - Manage student behavior on the bus and ensure a safe, respectful environment for all passengers - Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure bus safety and cleanliness - Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and district policies Minimum Qualifications - - Applicant must possess or be able to attain a Class B Commercial Drivers License with the following endorsements: School Bus, Air Brake, and Passenger - Applicant must have high school diploma or equivalent - Must be able to pass a D.O.T. physical - Applicant must be able to lift fifty (50) pounds - Selected applicant must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and random drug testing thereafter Salary: \$20.10 per hour Benefits: This is a part-time non-benefited position EOE/AA EMPLOYER\ VETERANS PREFERENCE
