JMT's Herndon Construction Management Team is seeking a Construction Manager to be responsible for providing Construction Inspection oversight on major transportation projects in the Northern Virginia/Washington, D.C. Region.

Compensation for this position is $57.00 - $87.00 per hour (118,560 - 180,960 per year), commensurate with experience, education and certifications. The provided range is a good faith estimate based on the requirements described within the job description. We notice that we receive a wide variety of applicants and recognize that the person selected may be less experienced or more experienced. If so, the actual salary range may vary from the estimate provided.

Essential functions and responsibilities

• Responsible for marketing and business development for transportation construction projects
• Manages contracts, including invoicing and financial management
• Responsible for project QA/QC in the assigned region
• Maintains and builds client relationships
• Prepare technical and price proposals
• Hires, trains, develops, and conducts performance reviews for staff
• Lead and manage team members by providing leadership and continuous performance management (setting expectations, goals, feedback, 1:1 meeting, coaching) that supports the growth and development of team
