"EVERYDAY" SUBSTITUTE POSITION

DATE: October 8, 2026 EFFECTIVE DATE OF ASSIGNMENT: October 21, 2026 - April 23, 2027 LOCATION: Johnson City Elementary School

CURRENT SALARY: $35,688 (Pro rated based on date of assignment)

BENEFITS: $35,688 (Pro rated based on date of assignment) ? Paid holidays and benefit days ? Health and Dental Insurance

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION:

? Candidates with relevant NYS teaching or teaching assistant certificates strongly preferred. ? Candidates with bachelor's degree or associate's degree and relevant experience will be considered.

The Ideal Candidate Will Demonstrate the Ability to:

• Build relationships with all students and staff.
• Demonstrate flexibility with daily class assignments depending on the needs of the building.
• Assist in promoting a positive school culture.
• Be willing to learn research-based instructional practices to be used when covering a variety of classes at the elementary level.
