Your main responsibilities include:

  • Provide direct quality technical support across incoming inspection, machine shop, assembly, testing, mount, and paint areas, ensuring robust QA/QC processes are deployed
  • Operate Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM) and hand gauges to verify part compliance to engineering drawings, and develop quality lot inspection plans
  • Lead root cause investigations on production issues, process quality transactions, and contribute to Material Review Board meetings
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on material disposition and drive supplier corrective actions with the Supplier Development/Quality team
  • Drive and manage continuous improvement efforts in production areas using Poka-Yoke, Lean, and SPC techniques
  • Mentor quality associates on measurement and inspection techniques while maintaining statistical metrics for incoming inspection and in-process quality targets

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you're a detail-oriented quality professional with strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills, deep knowledge of machining and inspection techniques, and the communication ability to serve as a liaison between production, engineering, purchasing, and sales support.

We'd also imagine that you are/have:

  • Associate's degree in Engineering/Science or 10+ years of relevant experience in quality control and detailed inspection techniques
  • Strong blueprint reading skills including GD&T, with proficiency in measuring equipment and Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM)
  • Knowledge of process improvement techniques such as Poka-Yoke, Lean, and SPC
  • Computer competency with Microsoft Office Suite and understanding of SAP transactions in logistics, quality, and production

It's a plus if you also:

  • Operating experience using CALYPSO software on Zeiss Contura CMM
  • Experience with supplier quality management and vendor corrective action processes
  • Knowledge of machining techniques and gauge validation
  • You'll also be available for travelling up to 13 days per year.

Day to day, you can look forward to:

  • Annual bonuses, health insurance and a strong focus on well-being activities.
  • Three days' additional paid leave for volunteering.
  • On-demand training and structured development programs to support your growth.
