Your role:
As Senior Demand Planner for North America, you will own customer- and brand-level demand planning for an assigned portfolio or channel. You will translate commercial inputs, historical performance, run-rate trends and market intelligence into an accurate, actionable demand signal in Kinaxis. This is a senior individual-contributor role requiring strong analytical judgment, independent data validation, cross-functional leadership and end-to-end ownership of planning outputs and reporting.
Your key responsibilities:
- Own and continuously improve customer-, channel-, brand- and item-level forecasts by incorporating history, run-rate trends, seasonality, promotions, distribution changes, customer resets, innovation and other demand drivers.
- Contribute to demand reviews and assigned channel discussions, clearly communicating forecast changes, assumptions, risks, opportunities and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Own the demand planning cycle in Kinaxis, including data cleansing, baseline and consensus forecast review, forecast adjustments, new product introductions, disaggregation and timely release of an accurate demand signal to Supply Planning.
- Independently validate transactional data, planning-system outputs and reports before publication. Proactively detect discrepancies, determine root causes and drive timely correction to prevent downstream planning errors.
- Conduct customer and channel run-rate analyses and convert insights into forecast actions that improve forecast quality and business decision-making.
- Own and streamline demand planning KPI and service reporting, helping consolidate reporting across Demand and Supply Planning where appropriate.
- Partner with Sales, Customer Development, Marketing, Finance, Supply Planning and other stakeholders to build a fact-based consensus plan and maintain clear forecast assumptions.
- Support the S&OP process and contribute to demand and supply reviews by presenting insights, scenarios, risks and opportunities for the assigned portfolio.
- Monitor forecast accuracy, bias, service, inventory and other relevant planning metrics, using exception-based analysis to prioritize corrective actions.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Analytics, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum 3 years of demand planning experience; experience operating independently in a customer-facing planning environment is strongly preferred. We will favor Candidates with experience in FMCG, preferably CPG.
- Hands-on experience with Kinaxis RapidResponse is strongly preferred; SAP or comparable ERP and advanced planning-system experience is beneficial.
- Advanced Excel capability, including PivotTables, data validation, complex analysis and structured reporting.
- Strong analytical judgment and attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to challenge outputs, identify data issues and resolve them before they affect business decisions.
- Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
- Working knowledge of S&OP / IBP processes, demand review and supply review; willingness and ability to quickly learn company-specific planning processes.
- Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate complex analysis into concise recommendations and decisions.
- Strong ownership mindset, initiative and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience or demonstrated interest in applying AI tools, coursework or emerging analytics capabilities to improve planning productivity and decision quality.
Preferred qualifications
- Power Query and/or Power BI experience, including data transformation, dashboarding and reporting automation.
What’s in it for you:
We believe that growth is for everyone, we believe in growing leaders, and we believe in making space to grow an owner’s mentality. Like nature, we adapt, we change, and we grow. We believe in connections over hierarchies and work levels. We have a 'corporate start-up' approach; we act with speed and agility, and we have the strength and scale of a large corporation. We are building a better world of wellbeing, and a better you.
Benefits & Perks
