Production Development Engineer

As Production Development Engineer, you will help ensure that our production processes, machinery and equipment support efficient daily operations as well as the factory’s longer-term development.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Providing hands-on technical support to production and solving production-related problems together with other functions.
• Monitoring production performance and recurring issues and developing practical, scalable and long-term solutions.
• Designing production machinery, tools, fixtures, auxiliary equipment and line equipment.
• Preparing technical specifications based on Operations and R&D requirements.
• Developing manufacturing methods, processes and production efficiency.
• Supporting CAD-based design and technical documentation.
• Managing machinery, equipment and operations-development projects, including budgets, schedules and production release.
• Preparing requests for quotation and coordinating equipment and tool suppliers.
• Supporting investment planning together with Operations Management.
• Supporting the introduction and ramp-up of new machinery and technologies.
• Supporting equipment specifications and purchasing activities in the ERP system.
• Supporting factory services and contributing to other operational development activities as needed.
