IT Business Analyst – Enterprise Applications / Agile

Job Description

Prime Source Technologies, LLC (PST) is recruiting qualified professionals for anticipated enterprise application development, modernization, and operations support for a federal law-enforcement customer. This opportunity supports mission-critical information systems through secure, reliable application engineering and close collaboration with Government stakeholders. Employment on this program is contingent on award, customer approval, funding, and applicable position activation.

Lead stakeholder interviews and workshops to elicit, analyze, validate and document business and technical requirements.

· Develop business requirements documents, user stories, workflows, acceptance criteria, process models and traceability artifacts.

· Manage and refine product backlogs and support sprint planning, reviews, standups and other Agile activities.

· Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), defect tracking, release readiness and change requests with business and engineering teams.

· Maintain clear documentation in Jira and Confluence and communicate priorities, risks and progress to stakeholders.

Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of hands-on relevant business analysis experience. Business analysis and Agile certifications preferred, not required.

Preferred technical qualifications

· Jira, Confluence, Agile/Scrum, process mapping, data analysis, application modernization and federal IT stakeholder engagement.

Work schedule and site requirements

Regular support hours are 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday. Personnel are expected onsite five days a week during an approximately two-month acclimation period. Following that period, and subject to Government authorization, the schedule generally requires at least two days onsite weekly with up to three days telework; the customer may increase onsite requirements up to five days. Occasional evening, weekend, or special-event work may be needed with advance notice.
