Job Details

In this onsite role, you will TIG weld stainless steel, aluminum and titanium pressure vessels and structural parts, prototypes included, working from prints. The work also covers torch brazing, assembly and inspection of finished tanks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce TIG welds on stainless steel, aluminum and titanium pressure vessels, structural components and prototypes according to print • Braze parts using an oxy-acetylene torch • Install hardware and carry out electromechanical assembly with hand tools • Deliver welds that meet the specifications required for AWS certification • Inspect tanks for accuracy and integrity with gages and measuring tools • Run TIG welders, metal shears, press brakes, plasma arc equipment, turn tables, rotary machines and torches • Take part in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement efforts • Finish all required training and follow safety rules, including PPE requirements

Needed:

• High School Diploma or equivalent • Ability to pass the weld test for Mil-Std-1595 / AWS D17.1 certification • Minimum 3 years of TIG welding experience • Experience reading blueprints

Nice to have:

• Experience with an MRP system
