Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related STEM discipline. • Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 7, 8, and/or 10). • Experience with Ansible automation and Bash scripting. • Experience managing Linux packages, DNF repositories, and kernel updates. • Working knowledge of Git configuration management workflows. • Experience supporting Linux graphical environments, including GNOME and RDP. • Understanding of headless Linux display environments and virtualized monitor configurations. • Experience diagnosing Linux performance issues involving CPU, memory, storage, networking, virtualization, and applications. • Familiarity with SELinux and FIPS-enabled environments. • Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and integrating COTS software and hardware. • Strong understanding of how operating systems, applications, hardware, networking, and virtualization interact. • Ability to independently troubleshoot complex technical issues across multiple infrastructure layers. • Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills. • Ability to work primarily on-site in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. • Willingness to travel up to 25%. • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance following hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization (OSV). • Knowledge of containerization and high-availability architectures. • Experience with Cisco switches, routers, multicast networking, and BGP edge connectivity. • Familiarity with NetApp ONTAP, MetroCluster, or Portworx. • Experience with Jenkins and automated deployment pipelines. • Experience with STIG compliance, system hardening, vulnerability remediation, and security scanning. • Previous experience supporting air traffic control, aviation, or other mission-critical operational systems. • Relevant certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE, RHCA, Red Hat OpenShift, CCNA, Security+, or similar.
