Manage DNF packages and local repositories.

Develop Bash scripts and Ansible automation to streamline system configuration and maintenance.

Utilize Git for configuration management, including cloning, commits, branching, and merging.

Diagnose system performance and latency issues involving CPU, memory, storage I/O, networking, virtualization, applications, and remote displays.

Work within SELinux and FIPS-enabled environments.

Troubleshoot physical servers, workstations, peripherals, KVMs, networking equipment, storage systems, and virtualization platforms.

Support development, integration, and deployed operational environments.

Collaborate with engineering teams, customers, and vendors to resolve technical integration issues.

Maintain detailed documentation covering configurations, troubleshooting, system changes, automation, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 7, 8, and/or 10).

Experience with Ansible automation and Bash scripting.

Experience managing DNF packages and local repositories.

Proficiency with Git configuration-management workflows.

Experience with RHEL kernel patching, updates, and troubleshooting.

Knowledge of GNOME, RDP, and graphical Linux environments.

Experience with headless Linux displays and virtualized monitor configurations.

Strong Linux performance and latency troubleshooting capabilities.

Ability to diagnose issues across operating systems, applications, hardware, networking, storage, and virtualization.

Experience working with SELinux and FIPS-enabled environments.

Hands-on COTS software and hardware installation and integration experience.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related discipline.
