Lead the Salesforce, Business Central and AI automation projects powering a fast growing national electrical services leader.

A bit about us:

About Us

Our client is one of the largest NETA accredited electrical testing, maintenance and engineering services companies in North America, keeping critical power systems safe and running for utilities, data centers, manufacturers and industrial customers. This role sits at the center of that work, turning new systems and AI tools into real results for the business.

Why join us?

Why Join Us

Real impact: your projects go straight into how the business runs, from field operations to finance to customer service.

Modern AI work: help build and roll out AI agents and automations with Copilot Studio, Power Automate and Claude, not just talk about them.

A growing company: a fast growing, private equity backed leader in a critical, stable industry that keeps investing in technology.

Visibility: work directly with IT leadership and business executives, with a voice in what gets built and why.

Room to grow: mentor junior PMs and analysts and help shape how IT delivers across the company.

Sr IT Project Manager

Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Sr IT Project Manager to lead delivery of application, infrastructure, security, data and AI initiatives. This role gets deep into operational processes and drives alignment across development teams, platform administrators and business stakeholders to deliver high value initiatives. The Sr IT Project Manager is responsible for project governance, managing cross functional dependencies and ensuring strong execution across multiple IT workstreams. The role requires a solid working understanding of both the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and the Agent Development Lifecycle (ADLC) for AI agents and automations.

Work Authorization: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution and delivery of multiple concurrent IT projects across applications (Business Central, Salesforce, Power BI and others), infrastructure, security and AI initiatives.

Manage project delivery across the full SDLC (requirements, design, build, test, release and support) and ensure the right quality gates and approvals are in place.

Manage project delivery across the ADLC for AI agents and automations (use case definition, build, evaluation and testing, security and governance review, deployment, monitoring and ongoing support).

Establish project governance, tracking and reporting processes to measure progress, risks and value delivered.

Keep projects prioritized and aligned with enterprise priorities, and escalate trade offs on scope, schedule and budget.

Coordinate dependencies across Infrastructure, Security, Data and Development.

Work closely with development teams and platform administrators to ensure alignment with architecture and operational standards.

Guide and mentor project coordinators, analysts and junior project managers.

Build a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Ensure milestones are met, risks are mitigated and business outcomes are delivered on time and within budget.

Serve as the escalation point for project issues and resolve blockers proactively.

Act as the central liaison between IT, business stakeholders and leadership.

Communicate system updates, project progress and business impact clearly.

Manage stakeholder expectations through transparent reporting and prioritization.

Ensure all IT projects meet compliance standards, quality benchmarks and documentation requirements, including IT policies for AI agents, connectors and automations.

Support enterprise change management and transformation efforts, including training, communications and adoption.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Technology, Business or a related field is a plus. Advanced degrees or certifications in project management or Agile are a plus.

Experience: 5+ years as a Project Manager, Technical Project Manager, Product Owner or Sr Business Systems Analyst with direct accountability for delivering software development projects in Salesforce or Business Central. Hands on experience delivering AI agents or automations (Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Claude or similar) is strongly preferred.

Certifications: PMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or a similar project management or Agile certification is preferred.

Skills

Strong understanding of Project Management and Agile methodologies and how they apply across the SDLC and ADLC.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working effectively with technical and non technical stakeholders.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast paced environment.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into actionable insights.

Technical understanding of software development, AI agent development (prompting, grounding, evaluation and monitoring) and IT systems.

Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
