Senior Bridge Engineer, $100,000 to $160,000 per year, Inspection and Rehabilitation to Complex Structural Design

Job Details

This role leads complex bridge engineering design work, producing technical reports, specifications and contract documents while coordinating project phases and delivering on budget and schedule. You will also review and guide the work of junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce complex bridge designs along with the technical reports, specifications and contract documents that support them • Plan and schedule project phases, coordinating with other engineering disciplines and project management staff • Track project progress and performance to keep production running efficiently • Deliver projects on budget and on schedule • Guide junior engineering staff and review their technical work

Needed:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering • Professional Engineer (PE) license, with the ability to sign and seal design documents • Minimum 4 years of bridge engineering design experience • Experience with prestressed girder design, bridge replacement design, culvert design and bridge load ratings • Working knowledge of engineering QA/QC procedures • Proficiency with LEAP Bridge, AutoCAD, MicroStation and Microsoft Office
