A bit about us:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This individual will be responsible for designing and developing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for a variety of building projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC consulting engineering, hands-on experience with mechanical system design, and the ability to develop coordinated construction documents.

Job Details

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required. • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required. • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred. • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in the HVAC consulting engineering industry. • Demonstrated experience designing HVAC systems and developing mechanical construction documents.

Technical Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit required. • Experience with Trane TRACE load calculation software preferred. • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical design principles, and building system coordination. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize competing deadlines effectively. • Ability to understand complex HVAC system types, with an interest in continuously expanding technical knowledge.
