Job Details

We are looking to add another Mechanical Drafter/Designer to join our engineering team. This individual will be responsible for creating and updating 2D engineering drawings and 3D models of mechanical parts and assemblies using CAD software.

Responsibilities:

Create and modify 2D engineering drawings and 3D mechanical models.

Work with engineers to develop component and assembly designs.

Ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and meet industry standards.

Apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) to engineering drawings.

Review drawings and make updates based on engineering changes.

Identify and resolve basic drafting and design issues.

Communicate project updates and work schedules with team members.

Qualifications:

1–3 years of experience in mechanical drafting or CAD design.

Experience with 3D modeling and 2D mechanical drawings.

Knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawing standards.

Experience with SolidWorks, Creo, Pro/ENGINEER, or similar CAD software preferred.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Good written and verbal communication skills.
